Publishing process of doujinshi in Japan #2
-Making story of "MECHANICAL ANIMAL"-
Before my starting Plecomi.com, I was selling doujinshis at Ebay.com form 2001 to 2003
At that time, A USA ebayer(buyer) sometime bought shota item from me.
And after setting up plecomi.com(since 2003), STRYCHNINE(writer penname) continuing buying shota items.
In this time, I thought he is just shota doujin collector or fan.
Suddenly, STRYCHNINE send me many gift w/ illustration as he like my service.(2004/Feb)
At this time, I thought STRYCHNINE is not just collector and can draw pictures.
But STRYCHNINE's buying(collecting) is so heavy, I thought STRYCHNINE was collector.
by this chance, we got along and emailing each other sometimely.
in NOV 2004
STRYCHNINE emailed me 2 pages of sample of comic
because STRYCHNINE wanted to know my opinion about his shota comic drawing.
STRYCHNINE said he spent whole summer 2004 and not completed yet.
At first I surpriced to know STRYCHNINE can draw nice drawing.
And I wanted to get his doujinshi.
this page is only line without(tone)
STRYCHNINE did not know publish his creation yet.
I storongly asked him to publish this creation and sell at my site.
And STRYCHNINE accepted my offer and make offset-print book after finishing.
After 3 month, STRYCHNINE finished his creation.(FEB 2005)
And STRYCHNINE shipped his CD data and many candys.
(I ate all of them so no pictures sorry :op )
Then, I send sample data to print office for printing via email.
And asked many things and many times.
And I checked Japanese spell .
Then he fixed it, etc...,
And STRYCHNINE asked me to put one color (green) for cover page.
After a while, We could take this CDR to print office.(APR 2005)
Dojin print office that I went.
In the print office, these are test print at Green color only.
Middle one is his sample print that he send to me.
I and print office staff choosed best close color to this.
But, both were not good.
Left one is good for out line but green is not good.
Right one is good for geed but outline is not good.
So we concluded making 2 layers for front cover page.
Outline is black and inside color is green.
After getting back from print office, I asked STRYCHNINE to make 2 layers
Then, he accepted to making 2 layers for cover page.
And he told me that STRYCHNINE may write more 2 pages.
And STRYCHNINE ,me and print office advanced to the offset printing.
At last,
In MAY 2005, he shipped final CDROM data.
In this CD data, he made 3 layers for cover page.
There were black , green and red color on front color page.
STRYCHNINE added one more color for front cover page. :o)
And I took this CD to the print office again.
And we choosed best close color to these again.

This is test printing at green , red and black.
Right page was sent by him. (PC ink jet printed)
Left page was test printing in the Print office.
Then, I send picture of this then he accept this color.
Finally at last, Many offset print editon "Mechanical Animal" arrive to my home. (6th / June 2005)
It took about 7 month for offset publishing since I wanted to get offset "Mechanical Animal".

Publishing process of doujinshi in Japan #1
-Making story of "Moonlight Fever"-
A German customer of plecomi.com buyed some doujinshi .(2004/5)
and we emailed several times and she emailed me sample scan of her creation.
It was Inuyasha hentai and pairing is Kagome x inuyahsa .
As soon as I saw her scan I storongly wanted to get her doujinshi as a doujinshi collector.
So I asked her to sell "Moonlight Fever".
this is inside drawing. :o)

And she accepted my offer and print her book by using your PC and printer.
Then she shipped it to me.
At last Moonlihgt fever arrived to me safety. :o) (2004/6)
As I guesssed it was very nice and cool Inuyasha doujinshi.
And it was very long story more than 100 pages. :oO
After reading I want to get offset print editon (normal Japan type doujinshi) of "Moonlight Fever" as a collection.
And I guess that PC printed "Moonlihgt Fever" is need too long time for making for her.
So I asked to make offset pirnt edtion of "Moonlihgt Fever".
We discussed several times and finally, she accepted my offer.
Then I searched and survey some print office in Japan.
There are many doujinshi print office in Japan.
And she send me scan of Moonlight fever on CDROM. (2004/8)
I took this CDROM to a print office and asked that this is ok for offset printing.
And Print office staff told me this was not enogh resolution. :o( (2004/9)
Dojin print office that I went.

So I emailed to her about need for more resolution.
And She started to scan more than 350dpi each page.
And it took very long time for scan each page. (102 pages)
And finally, she shipped the second CDROM to me. (2004/11)
It was in 3 CDROM as of heavy data.
Then I took this to the print office and of cource this time was ok for offset printing.:o)
and apply for printing Moonlight fever.

Finally, Many offset print editon Moonlight fever was arrive to my home. (15th Dec/2004)
It took about 6 month for publishing since I wanted to get offset "Moonlight Fever".
